20 Million Visitors X-MAS in THE GRAND HALL Wandelhalle

What began as a visionary light installation turned into an overwhelming public success: Around 20 million visitors experienced, admired, filmed, and photographed the Christmas Decoration in the Wandelhalle.

The fully animated, approximately 20-meter-high Christmas tree with 130,000 light points, along with the illuminated decorations throughout the entire Wandelhalle, bathed the hall in a magical glow. The spectacular sound-to-light production transformed the station into an emotional stage – creating moments shared by people of all ages.


The enthusiasm was reflected not only on site: More than 1,000,000 posts on social media carried the festive atmosphere far beyond the city limits and out into the world. Photos, videos, and personal impressions turned the sea of Christmas lights into both a digital and real-life community experience.

With this extraordinary production, the Wandelhalle has created a new winter attraction – a shining symbol of togetherness, wonder, and festive magic. The Christmas Decoration in the Wandelhalle was not just decoration. It was a meeting place, a photo hotspot, a social media phenomenon – and above all, an unforgettable experience.
